Can’t say I agree or disagree. I think there will be plenty of competition and expect SDH to gain a starting spot and we have Reuben Foster as well.

Not so fast Dean...You have Foster in the mix as well. If ALL healthy and able, Bostic likely backs up Davis and comes in on 3rd down, Holcomb and Foster the other starters with SDH as a backup.

Where are the weapons you said we would get in FA Dean? You said the cap guys knew what they were doing?

YOu still feel we go with Young with that #2 pick? Good Lord, Haskins will not last 3 games with the OLine we have and no TE.

Im kind of glad they didn't overpay for the players out there. Yes Young will be the pick. FA is not done yet.

Cooper would have been awful.

I do think we are mostly done in FA. THere aren't many options worth while out there. Our Offense will be worse next year unfortantely. I feel terrible for Haskins.

We could get Cordy Glenn or PEat at LT, Funchess, Sanders at WR, Ebron at TE, and Randall at S. Maybe a Trent Williams for Hunter Henry trade is in the works. Its not over until its over.

Nope, I don't see SDH, nor any accounting for the health of Reuben Foster in this line up. I will agree to one thing though and that is, with the signing of Pierre-Louis, it's going to be fun watching the competition at Lb'er in camp. (Don't sleep on the new signee)

We don't know Love will be back to his old form. He had surgery and has since had another surgery as a clean up correct. Not good for a player who has zero carries in his carrier.

The WRs will hopefully grow.

I am sure that Haskins will grow but so far the protection will not be there on his blind side and it appears we are going dumpster diving for a LT.


We took a step back with coaching for sure. This is Turner's first full year stint as an OC. That is not good for an offense that was #32 in points scored per game. RR made a mistake there for sure.

I suspect their defense will be MUCH better, with a scheme change, and new coaches. If they draft Young, they could have a dominant dline, which makes the rest of the defense better.

The offense needs help. They need the oline set, true, and also a few TE’s. They need a third down back. They need another wr.

They have a lot of money left to spend in freeagency though. They have time.

The problem is that the players left now for the most part are average.

I agree, the DLine should be fantastic. The LB is a joke and the secondary should be ok but we need a FS.

It is panic mode with the OLine as you are now forced to draft a LT with that 3rd round pick. We need 2 TEs as you said and we need a solid starter to help Haskins develop.

If I am Haskins, I have to question what the front office is doing at this point. We have done nothing to help him at this point and the #2 pick is pretty much earmarked for Young. That is what I was afraid all along about....the cap and 1st round pick are going toward the defense when it was the offense that was in need of help.

But does Fowler fit as a LBer in a 43 defense? He seems like a 34 OLBer or a 43 DE.

Well, I will tell you this. We are looking at a 4 maybe 5 win team next year. Young will be nice but Haskins will be on IR by Week 3.

We should have hired Riddick or a real GM to run the show.
