I just made a trade (cleared today) Where I received Baker Mayfield for A. Gibson.

Who would you start this week. My league gets points for completions.
Baker Mayfield or Pat Mahomes!

I know standard thinking this is an easy choice.
but Mahomes hasnt done well for me really at all so far this season & Mayfield has been killing it.

Do I dare Bench Mahomes (coming off a bye) vs. SF for Mayfield vs. Bal. this week?

Mahomes has been average this year.

Mayfield has been elite from a fantasy perspective. Baker has played BAL a ton in his career. He's a hit or miss but the BAL secondary had some trouble this year and TB's offense seems to be rolling. I think if you have Baker at this point he deserves a start almost every week. One thing I am looking for is if White gets less carries that Irving/Tucker might be more reliable. It seems they trust Baker to throw and his weapons are getting open in this offense.

I heard a stat that Mahomes has finished as a top 12 QB exactly 1 time since like week 8 of last year.

He is the best QB in the league. Might be the GOAT some day.

But it is time to stop thinking of him as an elite fantasy QB.

At least for now.

Shit, I sent Darnold and my 10th fer Baker and a 12th....................and feel like it was a Home Run! Feel like you hit a grand Slam!
I'd start Baker TBH.

Jayden but only bc it’s a keeper league. Baker deserves to be on any roster whether you start him or not though

Mahomes hasn't had the fantasy numbers since KC became a more defensive grind it out kind of team. He wasn't a good fantasy QB because of it last year and its continuing this year. Though he was like QB1 (or close to it, can't remember) just 2 years ago so he may get back to form at some point but if you got better options (Baker is right now), play them while you wait for him to find that form
