Why did Tala insist on being addressed as 'sir' during her discussion with that Imperial security guy? She's clearly female. Hell's up with that?

Was watching A New Hope over the weekend.

After being a hermit for 20 years and Luke still not having trained a second, why does Kenobi use his light saber in the Mos Eisley cantina to fend off the two scumbags and lop the guys arm off????

Instead of what? He tried to calm things down and buy the dude a drink, but the thug threw the kid out of the way and pulled a blaster. It was a split second decision--either the saber or a quick force pull/push. Either would draw the wrong kind of attention, but imo the saber was faster, more certain, and would draw less attention than the magic would have.

I guess we have different definitions of 'draw less attention'......

I believe his species has two stomachs so he wasn't dead.
we know that now, for sure. But a few weeks back, the writers spoiled that fact by saying that they are very aware of continuity and that the Grand Inquisitor we see in this series is, in fact, the same character that we saw in Rebels.

The wife wanted to keep watching Obi-Wan so I guess Im still watching it.

Episode V is probably the first episode that dips into the 'decent' territory for me if only because it fixes a lot of the issues with the previous episodes. The fundamental difference between episode V and the other episodes for me is that the characters at least act like what you'd expect them to act like. Obi Wan, Vader, the Inquisitors, Stormtroopers, etc all act in fairly familiar ways. Its still not pushing the envelope but its also not twisting itself into a knot trying to justify its existence. It at least reaches the bar of being on par with the prequels so thats a step up.

Unfortunately it looks like we're running out of show.

So did Grogu heal Reva since those were the only two younglings that survived order 66?

I could see something like that being the case. I kind of get the sense that they don't want to overdo it with Grogu and are keeping him out of this show but these flashbacks are one time where you'd almost expect him to appear.

It would be interesting to Grogu interact with Kenobi and Annakin in flashbacks. That being said, I'm not sure they even tried to de-age Hayden Christiansen during those flashback scenes from the last episode.

Not a horrible finale. Reeva was not the protagonist of the series, but she did get some redemption. We will see her again. While I don’t think it fits perfectly, I would not be shocked if she abandons the name “Reeva” to finish her redemption and adopts the name Mara Jade. I don’t think that will happen, but it wouldn’t shock me.
