Basing it off the Rams I think so. McVay's gotten everyone/thing he wants or so it seems and there's no cap worries in baseball. They need an upgrade or a new one stadium-wise, but all n all n basing it off yhe Rams. He makes good hires n stays the **** out the way. Can't ask for much more thsn that as a fan. Priority number 1 needs though, drop that ridiculous LA Angels of Anaheim bullshit n go back to California Angels, but they're going back to Anaheim. Angels

And Trout fell off no doubt, but he was the game's best player for a time, at least imo, so he was trending in the right direction far as top 10 all time.

I thought a Freeway Series between the Dodgers n Angels for all the marbles was dead for sure. Back in the mix.

Trout doesn't seem to be particularly interested in winning. He's well past his prime now, he could easily have asked them to trade him to a contender, or signed a new contract with one. I think he likes being in a place where there's no pressure and the fans and press don't care like they do on the east coast.

He could go home to Philly where he wouldn’t have any fan pressure because he’s the hometown guy. I think he just likes Anaheim.

The Angels feel just like the Orioles at the end of Peter Angelos- the farm system and other parts of the front office just appear to be woefully inadequate. The drafting of college players, and the one year where they drafted nothing but pitchers just indicated there was no plan to development, and they were really hoping for shortcuts to get there……or just throwing stuff against the wall to see what stuck.

They need someone to get in and overhaul the farm system and development. It isn’t a quick fix. Perhaps this ends Trout’s time in LAA, perhaps not, but I see at least 3-4 years before the Angels can be competitive again based on what I think they need to do internally to fix operations.

Yeah that is an excellent point about the Rams... Just wonder if he is using the baseball team as a "money maker" solely and not truly care about actually winning

I didn't give @packerzrule post any thought, but it was a excellent question n the answer is a grip of teams.

Dude owns the Denver Nuggets/1 NBA title. Colorado Avalanche/2 Stanley Cups. He was a minority owner of the St Louis Rams back in 2000 so 2 SBs, MSL title with the soccer team in owns. A couple titles with the lacrosse team he owns and some kind of league championships with the Arsenal teams, men n women, that he owns across the pond.
