MSM is calling Stafford 'petty' with his port-game responses. I read the article (linked below) and all I could conclude was that it was kinda 'petty' to call Stafford 'petty'. MSM dipshits. and football talking heads strike again.

You could argue that Stafford outplayed Goff and still lost.....which is something he is familiar with from his time in Detroit.

The stadium booed him out of 2 timeouts, which ended up being a huge deal at the end of the game. I don't know how you can have a stadium that loud and aggressive against him and then be butthurt when he is not all love for them after the game. I am fine with his response.

it's a biased Detroit News writer taking the time to whine about Stafford instead of focusing on the win

Not sure how that becomes the dreaded MSM nor do I understand how that's relevant in sports.

That writer is a piece of shit.

Not gonna comment on his article to say anything else.

Stafford is a class act.

Yea that was a really stupid take. I watched the entire interview and it never occurred to me that he was being anything but gracious in defeat. In fact I thought the booing reception he received from the crowd was somewhat uncalled for.

Your 12th man did exactly what they are supposed to do. They maximized the home-field advantage. Every team in the NFL wants a fan base like that but not every team has fans passionate enough to pull it off.

I’ll always love Stafford. He was GREAT for Detroit. I would have loved to see him with a team that Goff has around him, but he broke his back for the Lions and he will always have my respect for it.

He does have a team like that around him, in LA.

I saw the article in my yahoo news feed. Recognized it for clickbait. Didn't click on it then, not going to click on it now.

Seems like just another idiot who calls himself a journalist looking for ways to discredit someone and create a negative story where none existed. Can't just be happy that his team won and talk about that because it doesn't create as much clickbait bullshit. Par for the course in our world.

Given the writer is for Detriot I hope he knows he's a poor representation of actual Lions fans.

I'd venture to guess it wasn't even a thought that crossed Lions fans mind that Stafford was being petty with his comments.

Secondly, you're basically complaining not that Stafford was disrespectful but he wasn't effusive enough with the praise of the city. That's loser talk and shows you're not used to winning anything. Stafford and the Rams should be nothing more than just one obstacle down on your path to the Super Bowl and now on to the next team.

I think the writer is unfair in his analysis, I think he only looked at the game Stafford had and not the dedication he had to a city.
You put any QB in that situation and most likely he will not be happy with a loss
