The Arnott-Wideman-sturm experiment got off to a good start in the first game vs the Isles. Yes they couldn't score for the first 59 minutes of the game, but they scored when it mattered to tie it up and then won it in OT. OV scored that OT goal to win the game, and he has really started to look like the OV we all know and love. I feel a hot streak really coming along for both OV and the Caps, hope I'm right

Yes, but typical bunch of fancy stuff from Semin and no result. The second shot he had - why in the HELL is he slapping it there? He's 10 feet from the goal. They goalie can't react from there. You need LOCATION, not speed. He keeps doing these big slappers instead of wristing it when he has one of the best wrist shots in the league.

Guy drives me fucking nuts. And why isn't the coaching staff mentioning this to him?

Eh, you're too hard on him. That's what he does, he drives you crazy with his decision making and streakiness, but it works out often enough. Here's what I do, I expect nothing from him, so when he does something, I'm pleasantly surprised
