Paul Goldschmidt was a great pick up for the team.
Unfortunately too much of the season depends on Fowler. Since they are paying him so much, I think they will give him lots of playing time. He only hit .180 last season in almost 300 AB's.
The bench is deep.
I think last years win total was skewed by an Aug where they won 22 games. They were playing under .500 ball before Aug. Had they went .500 in Aug they would have finished the season at .500.

The NL Central is stacked this season. The Cubs are better than their 2018 record. The Brew Crew is good. Cincy added Kemp and Puig. If a change of venue (small Great American Ball Park) lights a fire under Puig, they could be a very good lineup. Not sure about the Pirates.

My guess for the Cardinals is between 80 and 86 wins.

Mikolas signs 4 year $68 mil extension. Not sure how to feel about it. One solid season and already at 30 years old.

Harper, Keuchel, and Kimbrel basically out of the picture. Would love to have had 1 of the 3

I feel the same way. As the opening day pitcher, he doesn't seem like the "ace" of the staff.
