Tiago Splitter makes a HUGE difference on the defensive end.

The Spurs wing defenders can get out on those 3 point shooters now.

they don't have to worry about the paint being wide open.

Duncan and Splitter represent 2 7-foot shot altering guys who can anchor the interior defense.

Thank God Splitter is back.

This is the DEFENSE the spurs played all season.

Don't think Curry's ankle is as bad as Parker's knee/shin/whatever, which was my concern with the Spurs all along.

They should have stolen GAME 1 before Splitter got healthy.

Boris Diaw and Matt Bonner were pathetic replacements.

The Spurs defenders could not risk defending the 3 point shot as much.

They had to stay back a little bit.

Tonight they were smothering the 3-point line.

Splitter is about 65%. He will get better as the series progresses.

I think the Spurs will win but if the Spurs meet Memphis then their size will be a big problem for the Spurs

This is a long long series.

I am not looking at Memphis.

I will be happy just to win game 4 at this point.

I dont know about that. Thompson and Curry were missing some wide open ones all night

Still think the Warriors win this series.

Going to be extremely tough. Can't see them winning 3 in a row to close them out in 6 and can't see them winning a game 7 on the road.

The Warriors were in great shape following the 2 road games....Protect your home court and you're in the WCF. With the L tonight they must win again in San Antonio to win the series....Tough task

Warriors already proved they can win in SA. Both times. Not as big a deal.

You cant really assume that anything can happen. If they dont win game 4 then yes i agree with what you said.

Spurs win shouldn't suprise anyone.
Championship/veteram teams can win road games.
Warriors actually by being at home had alot more pressure on their shoulders then they did when they could play footloose and fancy free on the road where nobody felt they should win anyway.

This is the DEFENSE the spurs played all season.

Part spurs defense, part lower than average warriors shooting and tony Parker shooting it great.

This is a typical cold shooting warriors night. They usually win by relying on David Lee bailing them out when this happens.

Splitter was ok (I don't watch many spurs games) but he didn't stand out to me as anything special

I don't know guys, I don't think where they play is as important as you guys are thinking here. It's a win one, lose one series so far, regardless of venue. Warriors are totally a bounce back team. And the Spurs injuries are going to kick in as it drags on, I think.

part of the Warriors mystique this post-season was the "looseness".

Ever since they beat Denver in game #2, they have been playing ahead with house money.

Game 4 will be the first time they are facing insane pressure to win.

San Antonio actually gets to play very loose in game 4.

Obviously that flips again if the Spurs lose game 4.....
