Spring Practice

Dana was supposed to start with the QB's this week. The competition for QB should be better than it has been for quite some time this year. Even the young kids were early entries so should be fun.

Anyone think one of the freshman (both arrived early) could start next year? I don't expect much for the O next year, we have to replace a bunch. However I believe a bowl game could be attainable.

Very much a longshot imo but I suppose it COULD happen because again JMO I think Dana will be relying heavily on the run game regardless of who the QB is so if one of the pups show more in practice then who knows, maybe he gives them a shot.

My gut says its Howard and Crest for the starting spot with Howard in the lead at this point because of his game experience. How has Crest recovered from the injury? Has Howard corrected his accuracy issues from the bowl game? If the answer to those two questions are something like "very well" and "Yes" then we might be in great shape at the QB spot for next year and years to come.

Nothing against Howard, bit I hope we see either Simms or Crest. It would be great to see one of the freshman just come in and take over. We could be set for 4 years.

Make no mistake...William Crest is your starting QB..there is no guess work..
