Marshall is undefeated. I probably won't move them up any further, but they are 1 of 10 undefeateds. So kudos to Marshall.

Florida has 1 loss to Alabama, and have a solid defense. They are third in the SEC East. Missouri has played 1 conference game and lost to Indiana, while also barely beating a 2-3 South Carolina team. I still think Florida has a chance to win the East.

Colorado State is 3-0 vs P5 opponents. Who was the last midmajor to pull that trick?

And its just my opinion

exactly. It would appear that everyone is of the same opinion; ECU has a solid team and only has 1 loss. No reason they shouldn't be ranked.

And I'll play devil's advocate and ask why you have Marshall at 19th. I know they're 5-0, but have they played anyone to earn a 19th place ranking?

Rhode Island - (0-5)

That is a shit schedule I agree and East Carolina has played the tougher schedule by far. But one is undefeated and dominant and the other hasn't played or beaten a single team that is currently ranked and lost to another team that is unranked. Everything we thought about the teams East Carolina has played has been proven wrong but they are still sitting in the top 25.
South Carolina=not that great to borderline bad
Virginia Tech=one game wonder apparently
North Carolina = worse than the average team we thought they would be

I don't think 1 loss (to bad power 5 teams) non power 5 teams should be ranked until closer to the end of the year. They could potentially coast up to a top 10 ranking when the power 5's start knocking each other off and that is with a loss to a probable .500 power 5 team on their resume.

It is splitting hairs and it is just my opinion. It's not like I'm highly upset about it. Just injecting a conversation to the rankings with my opinion. Doesn't mean I'm right because I'm easily in the minority.

Why shouldn't aTm be ranked in the low teens. Their best win is a shitty South Carolina and just had their shit pushed in by Miss St. They should be right around Nebraska

I only counted 3 people who didn't have them in the top 10? And they had them right on the cusp.

They're undefeated and have the best road win of any team in the country. They might not be top 10 at the end of the year, but this week, they deserve a top 10 spot.

South Carolina beat Georgia and East Carolina at home. Barely lost to another Top 25 team at home. Its not like South Carolina is a bad team….like say Texas.
