interesting poll this week, had a lot of crazy ballots some in a good way, some in a bad way.

For the Top 25 it's the best one yet because we finally didn't have the same 25 as the AP poll.

the Others receiving Votes section gets a tad crazy.

thats what happens when there is a preseason poll. TCU was ranked preseason, Baylor beat them. They both play cupcakes after that and now theyre both ranked.

How do we know that^^? I know that only Auburn returned fewer starters than TCU, and that TCUs major weakness was their true freshman corner that got torn up by Baylor. TCU probably benefited by the fact that Air Force is a run first team that couldnt take advantage of him. Baylor has played an overrated TCU team, Stephen F. Austin, and Rice! TCU has played Air Force and Tennessee State and Baylor.

yeah, the only reason Arkansas is ranked in this poll is because a bunch of fans of SEC teams ranked them 14th in their ballots.

overrated teams like West Virginia and Michigan State that were ranked in the AP poll and Coaches poll weren't ranked in this poll and instead teams like Houston and Iowa State who don't have a big name but are pretty good got ranked.

also Florida State wasn't ranked, it's tough to tell if they're overrated by the media or not, but they certainly were overrated preseason.

I guess with Florida State if Georgia isn't in the top 25 Florida State definitely shouldn't

while both have 2 losses, Georgia's are to South Carolina and Boise State, while Florida State's are to Clemson and Oklahoma, Clemson is worse than South Carolina, and Florida State's wins are over UL-Monroe and Charleston Southern, while Georgia's are over Ole Mrs and Coastal Carolina

Ole Mrs is better than UL-Monroe and Coastal Carolina blows out Charleston Southern on a yearly basis.

talent they have talent.

TCU's corners aren't that bad and it was apparent in that Air Force game, I actually watched it

fact is against Baylor Robert Griffin threw just an amazing deep ball for a lot of that game, TCU really had not much of a chance to defend it.

Air Force attempted the same thing but Tim Jefferson the Air Force QB doesn't have the ability to throw such a good deep ball, so he threw picks instead.

we would know more about TCU had Texas Tech not whimped out of playing them again.

Rice did beat Purdue, so they're at least at the level of a lower AQ school.

at using the transitive property... if games were all played on paper, that logic would certainly apply (and Clemson would be 2-2). Fortunately for us fans, the games are played on the field where strange things happen.

Iowa State isn't that good. They have managed to surivive their tough games so far. I guarantee you they are a 7-5 team at best.

Arkansas is a very talented team, they just got beat by a BETTER Bama team. Arkansas will still win 8-9 games this season.

I love all the SEC hate. Typical from fans of the other leagues who are ruined by the SEC's recent success.
