For most of Babe's career, ground rule doubles counted as home runs.

Golf: Jack Nicklaus would have something to say about that. Tiger better get his stuff together if he is going to catch Jack.
MLB: Babe Ruth and there is not even a question. Find me a single player with his stats that doesn't have 1000's of at bats more? Then tell me if that player had as many wins as Babe Ruth as a pitcher? Batting and pitching? Babe was the greatest. If we base it off of competition, then I guess we better start removing all the old time players off the list like Cy Young, 3 Finger Brown, Ty Cobb, Matthewson, Lou Gehrig, etc.
NBA: Wilt Chamberlain

I see, well then I guess Russell is the greatest "individual" basketball player of all time because of the number of "team" championships he won.
No. Russell could be argued as best NBA player of all time over Wilt because it was his job to make Wilt lose in those championships.

Personally, I still like Jordan as the GOAT. I'm just pointing out your choice of Chamberlain is not as strong as it looks.

I know what you mean. Yeah, Will had a pretty damn good career too. 100 point game, plus maybe the greatest game of all time.

Wilt Chamberlain Reportedly Had A Quintuple-Double With 53 Points, 32 Rebounds, 14 Assists, 24 Blocks, And 11 Steals. Triple-doubles are a relatively rare feat in the NBA. ... On March 18th, 1968 the NBA's greatest record breaker allegedly did something amazing: a quintuple-double (the first and only one in NBA history).

That is a pretty damn good game. Maybe Kareem Abdul-Jabbar? I hate naming LeBron the greatest because I hate him. Maybe Michael Jordan, I like him better. LOL. Maybe we can go Bill Russell as I am open to suggestions outside LeBron. :)
