Special teams

Can someone please explain to me why, on earth, Quinn/Patricia brought Bonamego back here as special teams coach this season?

I give him major props for beating cancer, and he may be a nice guy, but he's not much of a coach. He didn't do a great job (being diplomatic) with special teams the first time he was here in '13-'14. And now he's back?

And low-and-behold, special team have been awful through two games.

I just don't understand it. Quite frankly, I didn't understand why they fired Marciano in the first place. There was far less merit in that than in rehiring Bonamego.

Looking like a mistake so far. STs were good the last few years so not sure why we needed a change.

Highly questionable imo. Last year Martin struggled and punt/kickoff returns (both ways) were suspect also and not solely the return men as it was penalties committed by other players than those designated touching the ball.
