I don't think it's been done before?

I know that in the 05-06 Season, Detroit came close. They finished #1 on the PP and #3 on the PK.

First team that comes to mind are the 76-77 Habs, but too lazy to verify (the Bruins probably topped them in PP%)

Now that jstew's special teams question has been answered, can someone please tell me how to score a relevant powerplay goal? If you could let me know, I would like to have the answer ready for the next mall signing or giant eagle appearance one of the Penguins makes. Thanks.

I remember it being talked about lately couldn't remember where ... It was garrett who said every team
strives to be under 10 (ie when they add pp% plus pk% rankings)

It really doesn't.

I always get flamed for saying this but Crosby needs to work one unit and Malkin one unit.

The main 2 reasons being....

1. They constantly defer to each other, passing back and forth to each other while passing up shots etc...

2. They both want to play on the right wall/circle.

Penguins power play drives me absolutely bonkers.

We should start a club. I say the exact same thing. I know you should always have your best players out there, but the powerplay has sucked consistently for years, so I find it hard to believe that it would hurt to try this for ten games.

Since this has been answered I'd just like to point out that the Spokane Chiefs are going to pull this off in the WHL this year. :D
