Kody Spano is officially done. He's going on medical scholarship. Tough break for the kid. He said he'll remain with the team through graduation.

On the plus, it will open up another scholly for the next recruiting class.

There seems to be some pretty exciting dual threat guys in the 2012 class. This kids junior highlights are pretty sick and we're recruiting him. He visits Nebraska unofficially in July.

He's got a pile of offers and wants an opportunity to play QB. Apparently Nebraska was the first to offer him at QB. I have a hard time believing Turner Gill wants him for anything other. Yeah, the kid could play any skill position, but for a zone read option he's got what it takes to make big plays.

Those were great Brasky. Could we add Andrus Peat to that list you think? From what I've read Neal say, the Huskers kind of seem to be a longshot?

The more thought given to recruits, I keep thinking about the Turmanator way back when winning a game by simply handing off the ball behind a dominant offensive line. We may not ever see that level of awesome again but we can hope, yes?
