my concern is abreu is stating to slide ... bad. i don't know if he can't see or what but i am so tired of him swinging at strike three 2 feet outside, his last at bat when we could have used him that last pitch started outside and went away another 2 feet and instead of taking the walk he swung at it and came nowhere near the ball. his average keeps dropping and he looks lost and dejected.

Yeah. Abreu falling off is just adding to the woes created by injury. It’s ominous but I’m riding this season for all it’s worth and trying to stay positive. God knows seasons like this happen rarely so I’ll save the bitching for the bad ones. Chinks in the armor but we can and hopefully will find our happy place.
