Saw Mo Rivera on a local Acura car commercial yesterday. It went something like this:

A salesman is talking to a couple about a car and Mo is just standing there the whole time. They then move inside the car, the pitch continues, and Mo is sitting in the back seat, silent.

The commercial ends with Mo handing the keys to the couple, still silent.

WTF?

I at least thought Mo would say something, and "close" the deal on the sale.

Pretty stupid-ass commercial. Mo looked like a guy there just to cash a check, and one that can't speak a word of English, except "pay me".

very fitting that in a year of redemption, Lackey pitches a complete game to clinch a spot

he was the symbol of everything wrong with the Sox the last two years and what has been right with them this year

maybe he will dance the irish jig tonight or whenever they clinch the division

They were wondering when Mo was going to rob them and steel the car.

As long as he does a better job than Papelbon and his now famous "riverdance", then, go for it.

Something just does not seem right or legit about this to me for some reason.......

ATLANTA -- Authorities in Atlanta say the death of a man who fell over a railing at Turner Field has been ruled a suicide.
Investigators with the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office said Thursday that they discussed the death of 30-year-old Ronald Lee Homer Jr. with his family last week before releasing their findings to the media.
Police say Homer died after falling about 85 feet from a walkway on the fourth level of the baseball stadium after a rain delay in an Aug. 12 game between the Atlanta Braves and the Philadelphia Phillies. Police have said Homer, of Conyers, Ga., landed in the players' parking lot.
Police said no surveillance footage of his fall was available.
Investigators said they couldn't disclose additional details about Homer's death.

Today is payday for me.

And, for some reason, my checks never look like this.

Apparently, it is an even money bet that Pettitte will retire again soon, maybe today.

This was expected but not during the season, what a warrior he was this year, he pitched his ass off in September.
