I haven't been able to think about the White Sox at all since yesterday's Bears game...I'm just on cloud 9 from that sh*t. I haven't seen some crazy ass sh*t like the first 3 weeks of the Bears season since the Mike Brown back 2 backs...Just insane and kinda stealing my White Sox hype a little bit yesterday and today.

But yeah, first playoff series in a LONG time and the hype is real. I like our chances with Giolito and Keuchel. Good learning for Lucas and Keuchel has been there done that so will either right us if game 1 goes rough, or pile on if game 1 goes our way. Then we get cray cray from there...

Go Go White Sox!

The 1959 White Sox were the first team I followed (I was 5). They were called the "Go-Go" White Sox. My grandfather and I would watch their games and he explained how baseball works to me.
And, by the way, I think the Sox have a great chance to advance this year.

That 1959 team was beloved. My old man would just go on and on about them...way more than the 83 team...It was by far his favorite team until Paulie hit that Grand Slam in the World Series...And then it became #2. Sadly, long before my time.

Man...That brings back memories. Back in the 90s on the local station they used to play replays those old time home run derbys where two MLB players would go against each other. There were 9 innings and scoreboards were used and everything. Some big time names in it...I would be entranced watching them. No White Sox though - the only drawback. Worth a google if you like the old school stuff.

Renteria is WAY out-thinking himself here benching Eloy FTR. And his lineup is brutal as usual...But...It's what we got so whatever...Giolito does his thing and we should still be able to pump out a few runs.

Gio needs to keep his pitch count down today to keep Cordero off the mound. He gets ahead of so many hitters but lets them get back to full counts too often wasting bad pitches.
