An losing the wildcard game. I have actually been to Fenway 4 times this year and they have won every one of them. (First time ever, seriously)

This fucking offense when they turn off, they FUCKING TURN OFF. What the fuck?? 3rd highest payroll in baseball and they can hardly score some games??? I am so cot damn frustrated.

Porcello got a loss for pitching 8innings of 4 hit, one run ball. What The Fuck???

it's a 162 game season... the best offenses can look like absolute shit at times, even the worst offenses can look like the 2003 Red Sox. Pedro Martinez gave up 9 runs and 12 hits in just 3.2 innings against the Marlins in 1999. That Marlins team finished dead last in the NL in runs scored and OPS. Their best hitters were Kevin Millar, Bruce Aven (who?), Preston Wilson and Cliff Floyd (legitimately good hitter). Philip Humber had a no-hitter in a season where he had a 6.44 ERA.

tl;dr: shit happens.
