I like what the last few seasons did of making the show follow an overall storyline instead of just random episodes.

The last couple seasons have been great.

But I liked the episodic format for this show better than the serial format they are using now.

I like what the last few seasons did of making the show follow an overall storyline instead of just random episodes.
So you disagree with me, I take it...

I was just rewatching the latest episode and I think I picked up on something that I missed before. Do you think the scene where Gerald is eating at the TrollTrace headquarters is a play on the dinner scene in "A Clockwork Orange" after the writer figures out who Alex is and tells him the story of his wife's murder (while trying to contain his anger)?

Edit: found it

Oh my god the final line is classic. Might even be better than this one

The finale was fine but I'm pretty disappointed they didn't do more with the Memba Berries

I was expecting more, IMO. The dutch, actually swedish guy just ended up being a troll also? Lame. Hopefully the memba berry story isn't over.

I thought season 21 was decent, but man was the finale trash. I can't remember laughing at any parts and the way they presented the Trump angle seemed more like moral grandstanding than witty satire.

Didn't realize that was the finale but I thought it was pretty great.

It was hit or miss this season but I liked it overall. I say my biggest laughs were from the first part of the finale with the Hootie music and then the female Mr. Mackey (I hope she's a recurring character)

The sum of its parts is pretty good but individually none of the episodes from the past season would make a 'top South Park episodes' list for me. Huge reliance on music for laughs which sort of works but I feel like they could've done a lot more with IT and Stranger Things.

That was the finale? It seemed like it was a setup episode.
