Gosh, there can't be anything more worrying and frustrating than that. If that is true, it's a career in the books. Just too dangerous. Scariest part is the most recent hit was just a hockey play...something that happens in the game.

Good thing Cooke didnt get suspended on that play.

not saying this is what Savard is going to go through but all pro sports with contact need to remember this.
all the best to savard.
I mean, the current symptoms are part of post-concussion syndrome...but yeah, he's on that pathway. Which is scary.
sorry yes. I meant that to be my message. Im glad you got it .
its incredibly worrisome for players at all levels as well. my friend used to play on my hockey team. he got a elbow to the head that didnt seem terrible. 3 games later he got an even lighter elbow to the head from the same fucking team and that one sent him to the doctor. he can never play hockey again because of post concussion. Ive never seen him more confused in daily things when I talk to him. its very concerning.
shit ended my playing career, its really frustrating. i still have spurts where i studder a lot.
its hard to come to terms with the fact that realistically whats going on is you're brain isn't working correctly
