This one's a bit easier to swallow, but it's kind of a head scratcher to me unless the kid is just homesick.
Surely he didn't expect to come in and play over Nauta and Woerner, two blue chip upperclassmen as a true freshman.
I think Nauta is going pro this year, so in all likelihood if he stays, he'll be sharing the load at TE with Charlie Woerner next season unless Fitzpatrick was outperforming him in practice.
Sucks, but we don't use TEs as much as I'd like, so blocking is what we need most out of TEs. We'll be fine with Woerner, Fitzpatrick and Goode.
