What happened to the new Soundoff?
I was away for a week and it is down...was there any notice given?...

Jenner! Good to see ya! No. There was no warning. Lots of refugees have made their way over to here and fifth quarter.

No word yet it seems on what happened. I'll probably be on 5Q more than here. It just feels helluva lot more like Soundoff than this place. I'm more focused on college football than anything. I'll see how Reds/CBB talk are over here I guess. This place is just a giant clusterfuck. I don't care about mixing it up with Hartford Whalers and Utah Jazz fans.

I’ve run a large forum like this, and yeah, there are a lot of dead forums but also a lot of activity especially in the general sections.

I do maintain a larger presence at another forum, but I really like coming here for the college football talk, Commanders forum and there are a couple Orioles fans, too. A few of the other AL East fans in that thread are good people, too.

It’s what you make of it, and it is nice to see you guys injecting some energy into it. Typically, I’ve experienced this be a lot of dead air in the past, and that’s as someone who has been a college football moderator in other places.

@Jennerpeach @RealisticUGAfan119103 I had tried to run a UGA thread last season that didn’t have a lot of traction. Happy to bring it back, or if there are other UGA fans, we can make an attempt at reactivating the sub-forum.

We used to do that before the dramatic split some years ago when this site was sold and a new one started.

Might have been hacked.

Another site got hacked right before Soundoff did and the owner said he was negotiating with "terrorists" to get it back up and running. Said he dropped 5k to fix it. It was down for almost 3 weeks.
