This is a little trickier than it first appears. Here are their last 5 2nd rd picks:

Guice
Anderson
Cravens
P. Smith
T. Murphy

Cravens appeared to be a really good pick when it was made in 2016. I was on board with it & as I recall so were you. He appeared to be a solid player - who knew that he was a d-bag who begged to get off the team primarily because he is a baby (& doesn't appear to be doing well for the Broncos - at least not yet). This mistake falls on SM (who is long gone).

P. Smith was a good player who perhaps lacked discipline. He was just too expensive to keep (part of it due to bad cap mgmt. but not sure if he would be retained even if they had more $$). Murphy? Who knows - I guess he is doing well, but I don't really miss him.

I guess I am not as alarmed by the 2nd rd picks because it involves a lot of factors & most/all of these picks appeared to be solid at the time & the 3 players moved on for various reasons that are somewhat complicated. We will see in terms of Guice & Anderson - huge upcoming seasons for both. IMO this issue is somewhat of an issue, but I see bigger ones.
