I’m in on the Rivers to Tampa train. I think it’s a solid fit that keeps him close to home.

I could see it. Should have put it in the poll. But I don't think signing Rivers makes them a Super Bowl favorite. Rivers probably has a few teams in mind. If none of them want him he'll hang it up. I'd guess Titans, Chargers, or Broncos.

Rivers should be done.

Might not be, should be. I'd go after Jameis, Cam, Bridgewater and prolly Ryan Fitzpatrick before Phil.

Lol... This is John Elway we're talking about here. When has he ever done what he should? He just can't help himself.

You're delusional. Yes, Elway has screwed up plenty of things but I live in Denver and I'm closer to Broncos news. Drew Lock is already being touted as the "next coming" around here and Elway himself has said that they've found their quarterback. Lock took a bad team to a 4-1 record in his first five games. They will stick with him to see what they have. So, Drew Lock will be the starter in 2020 and beyond, depending how he does. No way, no how....would they bring in Rivers.

it should be either stays in Chargerville or retires, but if I had to pick another team it would be TB.

If the 49ers lose the SB because they were forced to let Jimmy G. pass, I could see them as a possible landing spot for Rivers. They could save over 22 million in cap space cutting JG and have a good team other then the QB position. Think they would be a attractive landing spot for Rivers as a team who could give him that chance at a SB win.

As far fetched as it sounds...I could see that happening. I don't think Lynch would cut him next year, but contractually, they could and not face a huge dead money hit. Rivers is not going to be a starter on the cheap just to win a ring, he's going to want 15-18 mil at least. So maybe they don't save $22mil, but we'll have to pay some attention to it.

I actually see him maybe as a stopgap QB in CAR, or TB, outside chance TN...to go back to Cali it wound probably need to be a team like SF.

We should also have a poll, "if he continues to play over/under 2 for number of kids he will add to his family?"
