So...what would happen if we traded Case Keenum for Joe Flacco?

First, let me say that I've had too much coffee on a dreary Sunday afternoon. This idea wafted through my head more like a fever dream than a move that would actually solve anything for either team. But I must admit that the thought of Munchak at HC, Kubiak at OC, and Flacco as a stopgap QB until a QBOTF can be found sounds kind of fun.

I think it would shock both fanbases. 18 mil dollars for Flacco. I mean Lamar is the starter for the Ravens but....

Ravens would make out like bandits. 1 year left on Keenum’s deal would save the Ravens a ton of dead money with Flacco since they would be cutting him anyway.

Do you think Flacco could be good with a solid O-Line and running game? And some pass catching playmakers?

My guess is Flacco ends up as a stop gap for the Dolphins next year as they draft another QB move on from injury prone Tannehill. Second guess would be a stop gap for Cincinnati assuming they cut Dalton.

Flacco will surely be released and will add a lot of dead cap money for the Ravens. But he is surely done there.

No. And put down the coffee.

I do have a couple of different rums I could put in there and I'm in the middle of a 5 day break from work. I could just go on a drunk instead of getting stuff done.

I think that with some better OL play and esp a TE, Case would be just fine, esp with a year under his belt as the starter ..

Sure, Flacco might be OK in a good situation, but Case has already started a rapport with Sutton, Hamilton, Lindsay, etc, and I don;t think there would be any benefit to replace Case with Flacco

I also like the fact that Case seems durable .. There wasn;t really an instance this past season in which he seemed to be hurt - at least to the point of coming out

Skip the coffee and go straight for the rum. Here lately Pineapple Rum.

We wouldn't be any better. If we're lucky, we wouldn't be any worse, either. Though, we haven't been very lucky over the last couple years. Flacco has never been great, and it appears he may be over the hill already.

While I wouldn’t want either of these guys I would take Andy Dalton over Flacco.

I do enjoy Sailor Jerry's and Cherry Coke. Or some hot chocolate with a dash of caramel syrup and a shot of Sailor Jerry's.

I watched the last 20 minutes or so of Chargers@Ravens. No way Flacco isn't available next year.

Foles is going to get a nice contract from someone. Foles started the season playing poorly. He does seem to play better the later the season goes. To be honest I didn’t see a snap of today’s games.

We don't want Flacco's contract. It makes 0 sense to trade for him. The Ravens will cut him and we can sign him to a much friendlier deal if that's what they want to do. I figure he ends up in DC, though.

That would certainly cut down on moving expenses!
