The Cowboys have the largest fair weather contingent out of any sports team including the Yankees. l live near Dearborn, MI (little Lebanon) and I swear Muslims get off the plane draped in Cowboys gear. Its hilarious seeing them reeking of cologne, smoking hookah's donning a cowboys jersey. Just so random.

I think a lot of Cowboy hype is media driven. Like many of you stated the Cowboys are a polarizing team. I think many states with a franchise despise the Cowboys where many states without a team love them.

I really think Dallas wins this one, even if AR was healthy, which he isn't....
I may be a lone wolf outside of Dallas fans though...

The Cowboys are like the Yankees. You either love them or hate them. I'll be pulling for GB.

Wrong. Or you're like me...you don't care about them one way or the other.

So many people dick ride the Packers that they could be playing just about any team in the NFL and people would root for them.

I will be rooting for the Packers, but not because of the playoff game. My wife is a Packers fan so I tend to cheer for them when they are not playing the Lions.

Yeah, when I see fat politicians partying with owners, I tend to root against that team.

Carl was maybe born when Favre was the Packer QB and is not aware of the 25 years before that.

Outside of a brief boner for the "Magic Man," there wasn't much of a national love for the Packers back then. There was that respect for Lombardi and the past, but when Brett started winning games, a whole lot changed. It wasn't just about fans in a town that doesn't have much else going on. Suddenly it was Brett, a mastermind that came from San Francisco, and a good story. They were a quickly welcomed 3rd option if you couldn't stand the 9ers (whom I'd say were kind of like the Pats back then in terms of garnering jealousy) or the even more in your face 90s Cowboys. Old Steeler blood woke up around the same time as Cowher helped get them back to basic, but tough football. Life hasn't been that bad since. It's the beauty of winning.

Poor shegals fan. Shows up looking for companionship and ends up standing in the corner without a partner.

Funny thing is.....

... a Hawk fan isn't the one who started this thread... Your statement has nothing to do with the original post/topic...

You don't think that could have been a play on Eagles?

Considering he's called Hawk fans that, not sure... He throws around names like they're going out of style...

Well Dallas, Chicago, Detroit and Minnesota fans most likely are all for Dallas... so I doubt anywhere near 90-95%. Detroit may not be rooting for Dallas... but I doubt they care for GB either.

I think that's bs. Especially Detroit fans. They might hate the Packers, but this Dallas loss is fresh. They feel ok about going for GB, because its not like GB will win the SB after this week. They will be back rooting against GB after this week is over.

Pretty much, if you aren't a Cowgirls fan, you are rooting against them.

Or you dislike Dallas and are therefore aware when you see a jersey. While someone wearing a Falcons jersey doesn't even catch your eye.

It apparently does because you talk about them or make some reference to them ALL the time... :10:

Odd, because I really only do that when defending my team...which your teams fans are talking about. :L

Considering you can't even understand what team I'm talking about, I understand your confusion.

Fuck that, I hope Dallas gets prison raped by a one-legged Aaron Rodgers...

Where I live (and in my Facebook news feed) it seems that the Cowboys fans are comprised mostly of skanky women. Not sure if Aikman lured them in during the mid 90's or what. If he did I'm jealous.

The Pack are near the bottom of NFL teams I root for. But this weekend it's go Pack go.
