I would say I’m already adjusted to it. I don’t know if I like it yet but I’m adjusting to the new game.

Pretty neat trick to increase scoring and still shorten average game times.

I'm genuinely curious to hear who likes it and who doesn't.

I agree all the people that are complaining will get adjusted to it overtime I’m sure

Not ALL of them, but it seems like these changes have been almost universally accepted as improvements. The only reason to complain IMO is if you just hate anything ever changing.

The league batting average was ridiculously low last year. They needed to fix that and looks like they did.

I do wonder how much weather has played a role, feels like this spring has been much warmer for a lot of MLB cities than last year. I could be wrong.

I’ll never be in support of the new no-shift rule. It’s lazy.

But I’ve turned on the TV only to see Tigers Live post game a couple times already. I guess that’s good.

I saw a few games in the minors last year and the pace of play was brisk. Stolen bases were up and the hitters were more alert.

I like it so far. Also to the surprise of no one, the Rays seem to be ahead of the curve.

It's awesome. The flow of the game is way better and it's nice not seeing so many should-be hits taken away by the shift.

They needed to help out the offensive side of the game. Happy about the changes.

I just realized the other night there was a timer between pitches. What happens if the pitch isn't on time?

Edit: I like it

I always wondered if there was a way to dismiss Rockies hitting even more, while continuing to not give the opposite to the pitching. Glad we worked it out.

If the pitcher violates it he's charged a ball. If the hitter does he gets a strike. It will take some adjustment for pitchers who work slow but it's really an improvement that most people seem to like

Wondering if they are going to reduce tickets by 20% since fans are getting 20% less baseball.
