I just found these in a drawer a few weeks ago. I didn’t even really recall that I had them. I couldn’t have spent more than $50-60 total for the pair. Here’s what they are going for now:

I also found a huge pile of Mookie Betts rookies that I had forgotten about. But this was more exciting.

Unfortunately total value is determined by consumers. You will never be able to unload them for some percieved value. It just wont happen.

Better sell now if you want that kind of money for them. With Covid prices of sports cards have skyrocketed over the last year and will one day soon come crashing back to normal.

One card sold yesterday for $10,700. The other one sold yesterday for over $1,000. In not talking about something quirky happening in some far off place. These just sold on EBay YESTERDAY.

Yes. I did a bit of dive into the stuff I had and saw a huge spike over the last year. Everyone stuck at home digging out their old cards. It makes sense.

How many cards do you think are out there? This is like saying "this executive got paid 4 million dollars, im applying to be an executive, i should get 4 million dollars". I know you are new to this site but you have a certain bullshit stupidity to your reasoning that seems awfully familiar.

Ebay sold doesnt mean it actually sold. A seller will win a bid when he doesnt want to sell for lower than what he listed. Then he will just offer up the same item in a new auction.

Maybe there is a demand for it. But I HIGHLY doubt it. Simple fact is that there are too many of those cards that were made....and limited demand to drive prices that high. But maybe things have changed in the football card market. I'm skeptical.

“New to this site”. Check my profile. 2013. Lol

You don’t seem very bright, so let me help you out. I’ll take actual sales of these same cards from EBay FROM YESTERDAY as a reference over your shitty comparisons to high-paid executives any day.

You people are unbelievable. Go search completed listings for those 2 cards on eBay and tell me what you see.

I had a 1959 Roger Maris card in decent shape at one time. Can’t seem to find it anymore, though. That was the coolest old card I had. I do have a really nice 1965 Hank Aaron, though. I know @DirtDirtDirt has all the Mantle and Mays rookies and shit like that, though. He doesn’t mess around.

Are yours graded? Values are multiplied many times by legit grades (PSA/Beckett) and a reason why some cards are selling for crazy high prices. If yours are not in Mint condition the actual values are fractions of what 9's and 10's go for.
