I dont think there is any washington sports player I have enjoyed watching over the course of his career more than Ovi.

That dude’s joy for the game is palpitable, and watching him set up in “his office,” for a one-timer that everybody knows is coming but cant stop anyway, fills me with glee almost as much as when he used to (not so much anymore) flatten any number of opposing players. Especially NY Rangers. And Penguins, of course.

Ovi’s Cup Celebrations were the best of all time.
