Commanders agreed to terms with CB Michael Davis, formerly of the Chargers.
Davis has spent the first seven years of his career with the Chargers. The former UDFA allowed an abysmal 61 receptions for 788 yards and nine touchdowns on 93 targets last season, but the Commanders will hope he still provides an upgrade to a secondary that was among the worst in the league last year. The bar is low, so as a temporary fix, Davis may be worth the risk.

Let the CB who was ranked as the 3rd best CB in FA walk away n sign for peanuts with another team.

To sign the 29th ranked CB in FA who also happens to be the older player of the 2 by about a month.

Wasn't there a pitcher like this? Brett Saberhagen I believe. Anyway interesting theory, and one I kind of subscribe to as well. If they signed Fuller I would have anticipated a drop off as it's been his pattern.
