The fact that there no injury coming into play is bull shit, esp since he was just warned about it.

I guess a player needs to bleed to death before it really "matters".

I don't mind whether or not the player gets injured being a factor but sometimes I think it carries more weight than it should. I'm not really sure about this one. I think this deserves less than your average kicking or stomping incident since he was down and really couldn't get much behind it. The other player also wasn't pinned on the ice or against the boards and could be pushed off. It looks like he didn't even notice what happenned. Using the skate blade though is not cool no matter what though.
