The NBA and the NBA media hate The Process. Tanking doesn’t sit well with them and they continue to hold a considerable grudge when it comes to all things Sixers. So what Doc and Jo and Ben and the rest need to do is adopt an Us vs The World mentality and recognize that if they want to be recognized they need to leave no fucking doubt and take that shit and make a bunch of people eat a dish of crow.

C'mon man. The process is old news already, any blame to put on the Sixers success is on the Sixers, not any perceived "grudge" the league has against them. The reason they haven't succeeded previously was a combination of injuries, lack of outside shooting and surrounding talent, and inability to beat the Celtics (and eventual champion Raptors).

If Doc was ever going to use the Us vs The World approach, it would've been with the Clips. Everyone seems to hate the Clips, lol.

Hawks will have to lock down every cortisone shot in the country. They had to sweat the shitty Embiid game.

He had a roster that, so far, has done exactly what it was supposed to do. Thibs had a team that everyone thought was going to be fighting for lottery balls. The Suns have far exceeded expectations. The Jazz exceeded expectations as well.

If you're going to give COY to the coach of the title winning team, then the category should be changed to Roster of the Year since that's what it takes to win a title.

But Philly has under achieved so much that in the preseason, they were not thought of as an elite contender in the East. People were talking about Brooklyn, Miami, Milwaukee and even Boston.

Doc was a huge part of what Philly had accomplished this season.

Coaching was the biggest issue for them, IMO.

Agree on that. But the Sixers were poorly managed last year so that's more the reason for their preseason expectations as to talent
