Two of the four already have QB's, so I wouldn't expect a big run. But, since you took Kittle, your WR's are pretty skimpy, I'd be hoping for Arob, Sutton, Watkins, Fuller

Your right, a run isn't going to happen in front of me, but likely to happen between my 5th pick and 6th. On the other hand I do need another WR and those could dry up in the same time period. Better quality at QB right now then WR. Then on the other hand might be easier to get by with a average QB then a hole at WR. So your recommending a WR ? Mmmm might be the best course, take my chances with the QB position, with the next round or later.

Now that I look, 5 teams beside mine need another WR, 4 of them pick ahead of me. Might see WRs going off the board before my next pick.

It was, guess the theory is QBs last for a long time vs other positions and Mahomes is considered special.

Easy to say now looking at how the draft has gone. But when drafting with strangers , you never know how they value qbs. Lots of home leagues go qb run early.

And this is a 16 team league, that boosts qb value more than any other position. You don’t want to not have a good one.

That's a theory, don't think I buy it though. Certainly doesn't seem to be the case in D2 from what I've seen and isn't the case in this league.

I definitely don't have research to back me up... But I think logic does... if you think about it...

and it absolutely is the case in D2... Look at my team!!!

Seems to be about par for the course in dynasty startups. Ten plus years of never wondering who to start any given week, and realistic expectations of 5000+ and 30+, or better, for almost all those years..I'd say its worth it

I'm not opposed to Mahomes being drafted in the first round of dynasty, but for the third overall pick? No. Those RB he passed on are few and far between.

Yes your on point with that post. First round...OK..but at the 1.3 ? I don't think so, but it put a smile on my face that's for sure.

Well, I agree he is special but 3rd overall is too rich for my blood. It may take a few yrs for another one like him to come around - but one will. ... someone always does.

Theres always the option of taking a Brady, Brees, Big Ben, Rivers late, good enough to see a balanced roster into the playoffs I think.
But even if theres a run I wouldn't expect it to knock off any more names than what was shown in the last screen shot. Itd be a stretch to go further before it got back to you, especially since once any of the teams who take one won't take a second on the way back. Your next two I would think you could have a choice of MAYBE Wilson, but surely Stafford, Ryan, Wentz, Newton..not too bad of options. Hell, maybe if you really wanna roll the dice, Murray will be around, maybe.

If all else fails, I expect JimmyG to WAY outperform his ADP, and I think Dak Prescott is also being under drafted. Just stay away from Carr

8 teams have 2 RBs and 2 WRs so a QB could be their next choice logically, I guess Prescott or Cousins won't kill my roster, but won't be trilled about it either.

Just my mind and how I'd do it..if I missed out on Mahommes or Luck, I'm filling my RB/WR/and flex, maybe even TE too, before looking at QB. Doesn't mean anyone else would, but that logic pattern is out there.

IDK maybe it's just the homer in me, but think I like Lockett best from these WRs.
