really got the ball rolling IMO. Maybe taught the Brown's that spending can be good. That was a good investment.

Maybe, but IMO it was a complete overhaul as an organization to their approach to F/A. The further Brown has been removed from the every day decisions, the better those decisions have worked out.

Signing Taylor, allowing the Blackburns, and their daughter, to start running the ship 3 years ago is what really started the ball rolling. Hitting on a F/A signing, sure, that shows it can work - but to me, the movement started with the actual approach. Reader. Hilton. Bell. Then last year with Hendrickson and Awuzie. This year with 3 clear upgrades on the OL.

The approach has been a nice medium of trying to stay true to the cap so that they don't end up like Pitt, NO, Philly - but also realizing that they are going to have to spend to upgrade positions when they don't hit on the draft.
