Just got the text. Hopefully he can get healthy and back to top form for the playoffs. Great news for Pens fans.

IF, and that's a gigantic IF, he can remain symptom free during strenuous testing (basically the trainers will run/skate you ragged to see if that sets anything off, it's the last big test), then he should be only a few weeks out. Maybe even a week. Gotta take it slow though, you never know when the symptoms will crop up again.

Sidenote: Tangradi skated with Comrie and Orpik this morning as well. This could be SOOOOOO good in a few weeks. :)

Just another example of poor journalism by the crazed Canadian media. And we all know one isn't enough ;)

Perhaps we won't have to wait until next year to see what James Neal is truly capable of. I have a feeling that he'll start netting some chances with Sid as his center.

THIS. Sid centering Neal and perhaps Kovy has great possibilities. Neal is the perfect winger for Sid. He works realllly hard and has a fantastic shot. The past few games Neal has been ridiculously dangerous, but for the most part he's been making his own plays. Kovy is a great play maker as well and is wonderful at slowing down the play, which can easily lull teams to sleep and get Sid/Neal open. It's a great mix because Kovy is lazy, but Sid and Neal are hard workers.

If Sid can get himself back into form and shake off the rust by playoff time, I expect the Penguins to be true contenders for the Cup this year, especially if the rest of the guys keep playing the way they have been. Getting guys like Orpik and Asham back will help a great deal, as well.

Not many people know that "Lacrimosa" means "Crosby's tears" in Latin.

While this is both my favorite version of the Lacrimosa and my favorite movement in Mozart's Requiem, I have a feeling this isn't quite the choir sining to which Pix was referring...

hey now ... i took Linguistics 101: "the wonder of words" and falling back on my parents venetian-italian dialect, lacrimosa means "chick that cries alot"

hmm?
