Rick Moranis Returns from 24-Year Acting Hiatus to Star in Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Reboot

Rick Moranis is finally stepping back into the spotlight — and it’s for one of his most iconic roles.

Big Bully, is returning for the reboot of Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The new filmed is titled Shrunk and will directed by the original’s helmer Joe Johnston. Moranis played scientist Wayne Szalinski in the 1989 Disney classic and its 1992 sequel Honey, I Blew Up the Kids.

This is the first on-screen role for Moranis in 24 years after he decided to take a step back following his wife Ann Belsky’s tragic death.

of all movies to reboot... they finally picked a good one... the original was great and campy... and the movie is more about the kids than the adults anyway....

so make the visuals great, have some comic relief with the adults... and the rest is a survival story...
