ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Raiders "are prioritizing a new deal" for Derek Carr this offseason.

Carr is under contract through 2017, but the Raiders rightfully do not want the headache of a contract-year quarterback. They also should be wary of an ever increasing price tag considering how well Carr has played this season. As it is now, a source told Schefter to expect a "Luck-ish" sized deal for Carr. Andrew Luck earned a five-year, $123 million contract last summer.

I see him getting 20 mil a year easily. He is worth it too. Great player.

If he's getting luck money, 20M is his floor as the cap increases. Wouldn't be surprised if it's much closer to 27M.
