Dang your right, but still........
Oh I know. I don't pretend we haven't been shitty for almost two decades. That just goes to prove my point that our massive fanbase isn't just a bunch of bandwagon fans.

Congrats. You're the Britney Spears of the NFL. You happy?
ESPN is without a doubt East Coast bias. Anything East of the Mississippi gets preference. They totally deny this but their programming makes a liar out of them. How many times have you seen the Phoenix Cardinals or Seattle Seahawks on the nationally televised Sunday games, and how many timesd have you seen the Cowboys, Redskins, Eagles, Jets, Miami, Colts, Pats, Giants. The only team from the Western part of the Country on national TV much is the Denver Broncos, and that I believe is because of winning with Peyton Manning. Are the San Diego Chargers any smaller of a market than the Miami Dolphins or The Seahawks any smaller than the Indianapolis Colts.
I know game schedules are set well in advance and the larger markets do get the lions share and that's understandable. However, ESPN does have the flexibility to change programming but simply choses not to do that. How many times most audiances sit through horrible performances with teams like Atlanta, Buffalo, Jets, Tampa Bay, Jaguers, etc. before they get to see teams like the Cardinals. Seahawks and Chargers?
The Chargers always get at least 1 if not 2 Monday night games every year. The problem I have is they talk about the same teams all the time. The Jets were awful last year & they wouldn't shut up about them.
The problem with the west cost teams not getting more Sunday and MOnday night games is that if they start at 7pm local then they are starting at 10pm for the east coast. There are more people watching on the east coast. Your numbers are going to suffer if you put them on a 7pm local start.
I know they do two Monday night games early on, but I could see them doing that more so the left coast can get prime TV. It would mean a 5pm local start though. A game that ends at 1am is a ratings killer.

They dont start at 7pm Pacific. They start at 5pm Pacific. Whether the game is on the West coast or east coast the start time is the same (5pm pst, 8pm est).
