i loved what i saw from him in his few games with the flyers.. i think he's hurt though and he's down with the phantoms.. if a bunch of injuries come i'm sure he'd come back up, but with rinaldo, harry z, and shelley all 'battling' for what will be 1 spot when JvR comes back, there's no need for him right now.. especially if betts comes back too.. that'd be 4 guys that want 1 spot (5 if you included sestito)

Shelley played a very sound game last time out. 3 hits in 1st period. I think he may have figured out that he actually has to play if he wants to play. He can actually be a fundamentally sound player when hr puts his mind to it. He is actually enjoying playing with the kids, Harry Z and Couts/Schenn/etc. Against a lowly team like the Isles, I would dress and play Mr. Shittey.
