I know you both follow Detroit's prospects more than I do.

actually don't know much about him except that he's been tearing up the junior level. should be a full time ahl player next season. schlegs can probably give you more insight on him

I asked because I actually ran into him on my flight from Detroit to Grand Rapids on Monday. There was a tall kid (6 foot 3 easily, maybe taller) with a Reebok Red Wing's bag. It looked pretty official and the fact that our flight was to Grand Rapids made me ask him if he was with the team. He said his name was Zach and had just been drafted. An older gent and I wished him good luck.

He seemed like a very good guy. I hope he makes it big. He seemed pretty stoked.

It was the only nice thing to happen that day. 2 gate changes and over an hour delay. It's the first time I've met someone affiliated with the team. It was indeed pretty cool.
