I started to think this could be possible after he sat and sat on the market. Would be nice if we could also bring Wolfe back on a one year deal.

I thought for sure he would cash in on a 4 year deal with some team like the Jaguars.
Thought maybe the Ravens would make a push after losing Brockers and Wormley. Could see Wolfe to the Ravens.

Wolfe would be nice but if it doesn’t happen I think I am satisfied with Harris returning and Dre’Mont Jones snaps increasing significantly. Wolfe would be a nice bonus.

Pretty classic - it appears the Broncos played Harris and Wolfe against each other in contract negotiations. Wolfe didn't like the contract offer - the Broncos shopped it to Harris and Harris took the deal (Not the same deal). It looks like a full rotation to me.

I really liked Wolfe - he was always the best guy for a quote about what was going on. Wolfe probably had his best season last year. I don't know why the Dline market it so depressed.

Wolfe was probably more consistent and better overall in 2015 and 2016 but 2019 was his highest sack total.

Well I never thought we would sign him but that was cheap.

Wolf might retire as well or hold out until someone gets desperate (Injuries) I think he is fine with not playing for peanuts.

Shelby Harris isn't the perfect player - he doesn't have the best measurables, but he makes big plays. You need guys like that - guys who have a knack for making big plays.

What thrills me the most about having Harris around - even over my favorite Wolfe - is that Harris alters the QBs mind about lanes to throw in - even just his reputation of knocking down passes will always be in the QB's mind. That won't show as a stat, but it is a big plus.

Chubb, Miller, Casey, Dre'Mont (Another year in the system), Harris, Purcell (if he can play like he did last year), A healthy Walker providing his motor off the bench, Attachou being that situational pass rusher and probably add something in the draft. Hollins growing in year two... Some depth at ILB with Jewell. Alexander Johnson continues to shine... If Boyue plays like he did prior to 2019 and Callahan is healthy, combined with two sturdy safeties and this defense could be pretty solid. A lot of "IF's", like every other team, but still feels like a lot more to look forward to then recent years.

Derek Wolfe to the Ravens just seemed logical after Brockers fell through.
