Sharapova's decision to take on Jimmy Connors as coach

I really don't care for Maria's game, and would like to see other players win majors, but I really wonder what she was thinking here.

The only other person Connors has coached is Roddick, and that yielded very little.

Surely there's somebody else out there who can help her figure out a way to get a W over, say, Serena, who has beaten her 12 straight times.

She lost in terrible fashion to Stephens last night, and now she's going straight to the US Open without any other match play? What?

I don't get it. Not like he is going to change her strokes. His game was mental toughness and accuracy. She already has mental toughness so unless he can improve her strokes then I don't see how he can help her.

At least he made Roddick's backhand better. Maria needs a serve and some quickness.

Well, that relationship didn't last long. Connors is no longer coaching Maria.

lol. Connors always seemed like such a dick. He probably hit on her. I hope she's not a diva type bitch...looks so sweet even though rather huge.
