this will have little effect on the tennis in the tournament.

serena and vika would've been dominant favorites, and masha would've probably lost early given her recent embarrassments, including a 2nd round Wimbledon loss.

hope shoulderpova doesn't have to go through another *gasp* 30 minute arthroscopic procedure that the media talks about ad nauseum for another 5 years.

A couple nights ago.... I saw Serena Williams on Letterman....
.... she looked like a tranny or much, much manlier version of Flo-Jo.
