NFL.com is saying it's an MCL sprain and he's out 4-6 weeks. Hopefully we get Ware back at 100% after the bye and Barrett is playing great I think we can manage but it still sucks.

Barrett came in and straight up bawled today. Assuming the injury is not worse than anticipated, the Broncos will be okay while Shane Ray recovers. This team is ready for a bye and Ware should be ready for the Packers in two weeks.

Rest up and get healthy, Ray.

As long as Barrett is healthy and Ware returns they should be alright. Bye came at a great time.

Sprain is as good as you could hope for. Only thing is they often say that at first then come monday you find out out it is torn.

yep you never know but he does have a chance luckily it is given it a tear .. it happened in a pile up so he does have a better chance it is okay .. when it is high speed never good .

On the bright side, OLB is probably the deepest area on the team, so if injuries have to hit, that's a good spot to have them. Thankfully it sounds like it's not as serious as first thought. Looked like a season ender when I first saw it.

The MRI has confirmed that the ACL is fine and that Shane Ray will just miss maybe a month of football. So thankfully with our Bye week that could mean he will only miss the next 3 games against the Packers, Colts, and Chiefs. My guess though right now is the Patriots game is their goal for him to be back.
