Very possible the Packers get Bulaga back. There is no OT worth a top 10 pick someone said that I don't know who. We can get one in the 2nd round. As for Rak what do you think he will cost in FA? You don't pass up stud pass rushers for RT. I don't care who is on our team.

Dean... that was me that started the thread. I was just quoting what McShay had said and I also pointed out that i think he is full of shit and doesnt know his ass from a hole in the ground as he was also a huge fan of JAmarcus Russell and RG3 as being TOP ten talents. And he particularly has no clue when it comes to O-lineman as he would have had the Giants take Morgan Moses in the first round last year.

There at least two and possibly three OT's worthy of a top ten pick in this draft based on current grading.

bulaga has missed 23 games in his career with the packers so keep that in mind too . rak at 4-5 mil is about right for us because he is a pass rusher and a 3x pro bowl player

we dont need to grab an RT at 5 for sure however if the right guy is there we should pick him RT or not if the value is there

4-5 mil for Rak? NO way. He is going to want more than that. Plus pass rushers are overpaid in FA. He is as good as gone. IF the LSU tackle or the Pitt tackle is there for us in the 2nd round that would be huge. Assuming we take Ray at #5.

Moving a bigger Moses to Guard wouldn't hurt either.

Moses has a 1 year plus injury. IF he is ready by mid season it would be a bonus. BUt realistically we cant even begin to rely on him at this point.

Rak needs an incentive based contract.

he can want all the hell he wants dean but his injury past clouds his future . 4-5 mil is all the skins should invest in him tops

Dean... dont take this the wrong way. But I kinda get the feeling you are hoping he is gone to increase the chances of them drafting Ray.

After all, if Rak resigns, even short term that should take OLB off the table come draft time.

I wouldn't resign him he has been hurt the last few years and has no pass rush moves time to move on there are quite a few pass rushing OLB's in the draft this year

And that is absolutely fabulous. The problem is, our biggest NEED is NOT a Pass rushing OLB. We need top tier talent on the O-line. We need starters at minimum in two spots. And Im sorry to say, free agency is NOT the way to go on this one. resigning Rak and drafting 1 or 2 top tier O-lineman early is much smarter than drafting yet ANOTHER pass rusher and trying to piece together the o-line with free agents and mid to late round projects.
