I'm pumped for the new physics engine, and the fact that according to them there will actually be authentic goal horns this year

Any idea if that's true for the CHL teams? Meh, they'll find a way to screw up Spokane's goal celebration I'm sure. I'm really curious to see how it turns out.

I wouldn't expect it, AHL teams dont even have their own accurate arenas yet (hell, some of the NHL arenas arent accurate coughPittsburghandChicagocough)

The physics engine sounds great! Also the slightly weakenwd goalies sounds fun. Last season even AHL goalies could stop 35 shots a game.

Someone at GameInformer played the game recently and gave a few thoughts. I cannot find it anywhere online so I took a shot of it. Sorry about the blurriness. The game sounds really cool.

The game looks good. I like the fact that all of my hip checks won't look the same. I am horrible at the deking in '10 I have two moves that I spam the hell out of. I hope the quick dekes can help my game.

The biggest gripe I have about the game is when you win the cup, right before your captian lifts it, there is a mini slide show on the ice. I noticed Marleau lifting the cup in that slide show (I think it is a compilation of all current captains, not intended to be accurate) and it pisses me off. Why do you taunt me EA?

chl teams, new faceoff system, the ability to shoot or pass the puck while you are being hit, the ability to shoot or pass the puck while laying on the ice, broken sticks, and all new quick dekes.

if you actually score a goal then you do not have to worry about it. right now if a puck is sitting on the line then they will not do anything. in the next game i am guessing you will just see a review of all of the close goals just to add realism to the game.

I wonder if you can pick up extra penalty minutes when arguing with the refs. If so I bet I pick up a lot late in the evenings on Friday and Saturday night.
