of course, that probably makes too much sense
LA hasn't won since 1988, they have the highest payroll in MLB and IMO should be desperate in a win now mode. Unless they want to keep wasting the efforts of the game's best pitcher in Kershaw year after year
LA gets their title, Philly gets to build around JP Crawford, Joc Pederson, and probably one other fairly decent prospect along with Nola from the most recent draft
