Wasn't sure what was behind that door, I just thought it was funny that it was room "elo".

Maybe that's Mike Modano's makeup room. Or where Luongo eats his Buca Di Beppo takeout. Crosby's Duct Tape storage?

We'd been out there an hour and a half by this point. Boy was wearing out.

Right after this, the little one turned to mom and said "It's like the monkey house at the zoo!".

Good thing he didn't hear that.

I remember when I was your boy's age 43 (maybe a couple of years older), we played a game at the Medicine Hat Arena (where the Tigers in the Dub still play). I was lucky enough to record a goal and a helper that day (even got my name announced over the PA system).

It was quite a fun day and I'm sure your son will remember it as well.

When I was 18, we played a tune up game at Empire Stadium right before the Whitecaps were to play the New York Cosmos (when Pele was playing). During the second half of play, I'm standing there in goal, there's 10,000 fans in the stadium by now, and Pele is standing right across from my on the sidelines watching the game; fucking Pele!

Anyways, great pics 43, looks like a massive thrill for everyone.

Reminds me of how I got my screen name -- blindbaby. I was playing in a soccer tourney and I used to like to mimic Cheech & Chong's blind melon chitlin at the time. Anyways, the team manager scratches my name off the roster sheet and writes in "blind melon chitlin". The P.A. announcer then reads the list cold and says over the mic, "starting in goal for Campbell River.....blind melon chitlin???" The entire place gutted their selves with laughter upon hearing this and hence forth, I was known as blindbaby. True Story (other than substituting chitlin for my real last name).
