Well for any other idiot who thinks the defense did not dominate the second half they gave up a total of 133 yards in the second half (including the 75 yard run 10 seconds into the half) 58 yards for the rest of the game. They did not allow a drive more than 4 plays in the second half. They only allowed 2 drives of more than 6 yards in the second half 75 and 34 only one resulting in points. Maryland was held to 4-15 on third downs for the game. They had two bad plays that resulted in 14 points and 152 yards...rest of game 13 points and 295 yards.

4 TO's equalled 3 points for Maryland

Results of second half drives for Maryland:

TD
Punt
Safety(special teams gets credit for safety but defense forced 3 and out after we went for it on 4th down)
Punt
Punt
FG (Drive started on our 8 yard line, ended on our 11 yard line)
Punt
Punt

Maybe DH made his 4th down decisions because of how the D was playing....you don't have to agree with it(hell I am not sure I agree with it) but it does not show any lack of ability to coach...maybe it shows a coach in tune with his team and what they are actually doing. neither 4th call put our defense in bad spot, great halftime adjustment IMO.

More to work on but the defense adjusted and did their part to win this game.

Easy to complain about coaching errors during the game, but note Tricketts 500 yards passing, KWhites 200 yards receiving and the domination of our Defense. We lost 37-0 last year. I am seeing major improvement from these same players who lost to Kansas last year.

Someone else was complaining about giving up long TDs but if my math is right a 75 yard TD counts the same as a 1 yard TD...anyone have a calculator?

Your a joke and when given statistical data you have no answer...your pathetic and your post are even more pathetic. You make statements like "lost control of team" how do you measure that from your couch? Argue the stats above or just shut the fuck up.

Hey guys we lost 77-0 but we only have up short TDs...it's all good.

Please tell me the clock management issues we had....let's see we started at our 5 went down and kicked a game winning FG as time expired...were we supposed to leave more time on the clock? :lame: how did his clock management hurt us????? :bullshit:

We have things to work on but you are Nutts ...next thing your going to say is you don't like the color of the coaches shirt...oh wait

Alright, you want an answer, a 75 yard TD counts for MUCH more than a one yard TD, here is how, 1) it uses no clock compared to an 80 yard grind it out drive 2) it gives the offense momentum and confidence 3) it demoralizes and gets the defense questioning what they are doing 4) at an away game, It energizes the crowd 5) at a home game it deflates the crowd 6) it exposes weaknesses in the defense for future opponents to exploit and plan for. If you think Holgorsen and the WVU coaching staff had control of their team, much less the game in the last 6 minutes of the first half, your rose colored glasses were blinding you more than usual. Once again, resort to name calling,

You're talking to a guy who argued with me last night that WVU was fortunate Maryland took a time out with 4 seconds left in the game.

What a joke…

Yeah… if Maryland hadn't called TO… our stupid HC who can't control a clock… or a football team… would have been SOL.

So if a team gives up a 74 yard play down to the one and then runs it in on the next play is that still better than a 75 yard TD? Just want to make sure I have all these unwritten rules in order.
